Ok I’ve been totally and completely hooked on this audio clip ever since I first got to hear the amazingly moving voice of Hassen Rasool, while browsing the religion forum < :eek:.
After listening to it for over a month or so, often on a loop,I just had this strange overwhelming urge to share.

Yusuf Islam has praised Hassen Rasool as well. When i hear verses recited from the Quran, i dunno about others but for me personally, what strikes a chord within me is if the voice carries reverence, humility and awe - afterall, you are reciting the Words of Allah Himself. Only certain individuals possess that gift… i think this is one of them.

Yea the website no longer has those mp3’s available for downloading. Infact that was part of the reason I wanted to share. I do remember it had Surah Fatiha there.You might want to check with Nadia, she probably has it.

Hassen Rasool had more audio files on the main page of his website; when i posted about his website in the Religion Forum, some individuals complained and criticized in my thread and a few days later, the audio files were removed from HR’s website. i am not certain if the two incidents are related, but i desperately hope not. He has a beautiful voice Masha’Allah. Anything that makes you closer towards your faith, towards wanting to praise Allah (SWT) more, and towards expressing your love of Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) - how can that be negative.
