He is absolutely right about lack of inventions especially from sub-continental muslims in the last 200 years.

I would say it is partly laziness and partly a false sense of spiritual superiority … the message that is taught to us by illiterate maulvis from a very young age, day in and day out, that life is NOTHING and we ONLY live to prepare for afterlife.

Yes you should remind people about life after death so they could control their greed and wrongdoings but it should NOT be at the expense of education & innovation or current life otherwise Muslims will continue to suffer

agree with everything…the only thing i would add…i dont give a damn if muslims will continue to suffer…i mean i do but only as part of a bigger pool of those sufferers…we must need to think beyond religion when it comes to suffering…our mentality shd be to invent or do good stuff for humanity not for a certain religion…muslims are not alone in suffering…poor hindus are suffering..poor Christians in africa are suffering…

this muslim specific mentality is of no good…for example i have noticed muslims never ever donate money to non muslims …how many pakistanis will donate for israel or india if there is a natural catastrophe there?

if we have to think in bucket we shd think of pakistan but not of umma or muslims.
