well i like him coz he didnt do what others did on the name of jihad, declare war and then hide in caves watching your own people die, neither did he force jihad. He waited for them to attack and fought like a real hero ... Also he doesnt discremenate betweens different sects of Islam, he has sunni's and shia's supporting him.

coz he has shown the world how to stand up and fight for the just cause. Under him Hezbollah has also become a model organisation for the Muslims worldwide who really want to stand up and do something about their communities. Hezbollah today is more than a fighter organisation. It runs schools, hospitals and numerous other well organised movements that help the people of Lebonan and Palestine regardless of their religion, sect and background. Under his leadership, the world saw the true evil regime of Israel coming to its knees for the first time in its history. Gave his own son for the cause he believes in. Surveys conducted show him as the most admired leader in the Arab world. But i reckon he is not only an Arab hero but a hero for the whole Islamic world.

A person who attacks a woman or childeren cant be a hero... and i think you are reffering to Samir kuntar who is accused of killing a four years old girl and that could be rite but the fact is that he is accused of murder by israeli court .... so i hesitate trusting this news.

i hear a jew killing women and kids in lebnon and then blaming it on someone else... if samir did kill 4 yrs old .. then he didnt desrve to live a moment more. Yet israel kept him alive ! so they cud have a reason to kill people of lebnon for 30 yrs. and 1500 sounds little less a number of ppl martyred in lebnon.

that is indeed debate able. What would you have done if israeli armed forces targeted ur house in lebnon and hurt civilians ? using missles and bombs !

obviously i would retaliate but then again can't alone right, that's why we have ulema who we can go to for these kind of issues. and yes some ulema do allow what nasralla is doing.

Because he is an awesome person in general. He is charismatic, politically savvy, a practising muslim in every sense, hugely popular across lebanons religious divide, always true to his words and promises etc etc. I think every nation could do with a Hassan Nasrallah. :)
and last but not least, he has single handedly achieved what the rest of the arab/muslim nations couldnt do in a lifetime. Now thats what you call an inspiring leader.:)
