Where was this beautiful tradition of making children of house ‘Hassan Hussain ke faqeer’ on Ashoor day followed? UP?
There are many things that are not religious but followed in different cultures with religious zeal. Like one of my Khaloo (Marhoom was follower and enjoyed company of Syeds) did not consume milk, meat and did not use surma during 10 days. I hear some people avoid sleeping on bed/ charpai during mourning days.
Have you heard of such customs being followed by people around you?
