Junaid Saleem ne farmaayaa “bhindii kii lai’s” [chipchipaahaT (stickiness)]…asl lafz hai LAS [laam, seen, zabar = las].
Azizi ne farmaayaa “karele kaa kavRaa” [bitterness]…dar asl, lafz hai “kaRvaahaT”.

I think Urdu spoken in these shows like 'Hasb e Haal' and 'Khabar-naak' is not supposed to be standard Lakhnavi / Dehlvi style as the participants / performers first language is not Urdu (Though today's ihl e zaban themselves mispronounce lot of words).
Secondly, Azizi and other performers knowingly use Punjabi words (like karele ka kauRa) for humor purposes.
Thirdly, these programs are not intended for improvement of pronunciation and majority of viewers don't watch these programs for correcting their pronunciation. Such programs which talks about correct pronunciation, history of language, our classic poetry should also be made. In recent times, I only saw Geo TV presenting a short series about classic Urdu poets 'Kuch Aap beeti, kuch jag beeti' where Zehra Nigah recited selected poetry of classic poets. Other than this, nothing is being done to promote the langauge. Though, In India, Door Dashan has produced good programs on history and development of Urdu.
