they should give chances to the likes of hasan raza and mansoor amjad. both are quality players. mansoor amjad is proving himself to be a very dependable and handy allrounder.

I've been saying for a long time that Hasan Raza is da man! Even if he's not the man, he should be given an extended run in the national side. It was a good thing that Woolmer was watching the game. He might have some say in selection matters and might be able to get Raza in the national side.

Hasan Raza is another domestic bully who hasn't performed in the international scene. Unfortunately for Pakistan we don't have better batsmen to offer so he definitly deserves a chance in the side.
Umer Gul is on fire these days, hopefully he continues this form against England. Gul and Kaneria are two bowlers who should be certain for the first test.

umair, on what basis are you calling Raza a failure on international scene???? He was NEVER given a consistent run in past few years. Give him chances as much as you have given to Fathat, Hameed, Taufeeq etc and only then he can be called a failure at international level. He has performed not only in domestic but against international touring sides in A tours etc.

Agreed. He has performed more often than not when given a chance.
