Has your hair color changed over the years?

I have noticed that my hair color now is very different than it was before. Before it used to look coal black, and now it looks dark brown. I dont know why!!! I am not someone who spends a lot of time in the sun, so I am wondering how and why this happened. I asked my mom if she has noticed the difference and she said she has. Said it used to be black but is now dark brown (in the light or outside). Is this a sign of being unhealthy or just because I tan easily and that also affects the hair? I have no idea.

I dont dye my hair, never have, so that cant be the reason for it.

Have you noticed a change as well? Thanks.

When I was younger, my hair was slightly lighter than it is right now. It was dark brown back then, now it's pretty much black. Same with my brother. His hair was very light brown in his childhood years, but as he got older, it darkened up quite significantly.

One of my brothers had blondish hair as a baby, then it turned dark brown. Now thats dramatic. hehe.

Yes, that happened to 2 of my cousins also. They were born with blond hair and grey eyes, and their hair slowly turned light brown over the years, however, eye color remained intact.

Munni when I was a child my hair was strawberry blond and I had blue eyes, now my hair is a dark auburn color and eyes are hazel haha

Hormonal changes..specially in women affect the color of hair at times.

Some women have hair color changes after giving birth...

My haircutting lady told me her color has changed 3-4 times since she was a child.

Slight change of colour is perfectly normal, as in ur case. It doesn't only happen to female but to humans (male or female). But if the hair colour gets light brown from black then u are missing some vitamins, in that case better talk to ur doctor or nutritionist.

My haircolor was light brown, almost dirty blonde, as a child…then for a while it darkened to coal black…and in my early 20s to current, my natural hair color is dark brown w/reddish highlights…eye color is solid brown.

:clown:

water can also change your hair color.

when my aunt moved near us, her black hair started lightening due to the change of water-b/c by us we get Lake Michigan water.

here at school, my hair is changing as well. i don't like it :(
