Of late I have been disappointed in Umera Ahmed’s Zindagi Gulzar hai…I think this drama is dragging and has lost steam and direction. Unfortunately towards the end the direction is rather subpar. They are putting so many marital issues between Kashaf and Zarun. There aren’t enough scenes showing that Kashaf is a warm wife. She appears cold..this drama is lacking Umera Ahmed signature style. Unfortunately this cannot be considered one of Umera Ahmed’s better works.

I personally liked Durre Shahwar, mzzb, quaid e tanhai and even maat. Zgh started out great...loved it...but I feel i now it has lost flow and has been an soap opera...just my 2 cents

Agree, can't understand what is the message Umera wanted to convey through this story, when much much complex messages were conveyed in less than episodes already attributed to this drama

^^agree ...don't know what MSG she is portraying ....they seem to say that some working women are bad...some are confused and cold like Kashaf but do housework? One of best things about Umera Ahmed is her portrayal of characters....there are many unresolved issues in this drama....finally what is the message. Durre Shahwar was a great drama in just 15 episodes... It's episode 22 and I don't know how it will end and what message we are supposed to take away. some may argue that not every drama is suppose to have a message. Honestly had they not unnecessarily dragged the drama it may be showed that if u raise your girls right and work hard - daughters are a blessing and can lead great lives. Sons are not everything....

They are telling us that you can always encash popularity of actors like Fawwad Khan. Whats new in this drama, which was not said in any earlier drama?

I like Fawad khan as Zarun but there is something called overkill! Humsafar finished when the story ended..that is Bc they did not know it would become as popular as it did. One of the best things about hum dramas is that they end after about 4 to 5 months . This story starting going downhill after Kashaf and Zarun got married. Their unnecessary petty fighting and immature behavior doesn't help the story. Don't know who is to blame the director or writer. But definitely seems like they are trying to cash in Fawad Khan. I think by the end of this drama I will be fed up of seeing him. Sanam Saeed was great until she married Zarun.
