Has this become culturally accepted?

One of my sister’s friend is getting married shortly and she complained that her parents are not giving her enough jewellery. Her parents are of the view that ‘laRka acha khasa kamata hai. Besides normal salary, wo saal main 10-12 Lakh bana leta hai, wo banwa dega’

I think in old days, people avoid to make relationships with bribe takers / dau numbri log. But now one who gets ooper ka maaland can built many buildings bearing ayats ‘Haza Min Fazl e Rabbi’ is culturally and socially accepted.

Whats your opinion on this deterioration of cultural values?

yes. I mean to say whether or not we accepted corruption by all means?

Re: Has this become culturally accepted?

We will keep on denouncing " deterioration of cultural values" yet keep sticking to a socio-economic culture that causes the deterioration.

We are all hypocrites

But how did this change came in our society, because a few decades ago it was not openly accepted and now people openly disclose that they took ooper ki aamadani and are accepted
