I know it may sound bad but i have learnt from my mistakes and try to avoid borrowing anything to people who have messed me around in the past. I tend to make an excuse of some sort so im not actually saying 'no' to them directly.

memories. someone who borrows and runs with them, is but a sad memory.
but the good thing is, it is full of lesson in kind.

i treaure lending as a trust building transactional interaction among people.
hope is people are ethical in being able to borrow honestly and not steal or damage in any way. :>
