The thing with desis is .. OK I will say it, that they want to be involved, involved in the couples personal matters.

If a couple has a Nikkah and no ‘Rukhsati’ and the couple is doing it secretly then they the society will not know, hence not be involved in the news. Our people want the first to know, to be kept in touch with the happening.

I am not say that people should or not, its just its not wrong.
