Whatever science was apparently revealed 1400 years ago is irrelevant is it not... The truth of Islam lies in Islam, It does not require scientific validation.
Ultimately I think varsity of our faith is determined by the individual experience of it. If your faith creates within you the that peace and hidayat that you require to lead a fulfilling life, that in itself is proof enough.
As I wrote earlier that this book is a book of sign not a book of science. So whatever revealed 1400 years ago is a sign for non-believers. That what I meant here.

I suppose so. However, i have yet to find a convert who converted due to the scientific revelations in Islam. What they have always spoken of is an internal realization or spiritual awakening so to speak.
While I don't doubt your sincerity, how can you be certain your friends weren't the jinn that night? Human friends have been known to exhibit jinn lie behavior on occasion.
:D hahaha
It is my faith that Jinn are real ... it is not my faith that recitation of Surah Jinn a certain number of times will release Jinn unless it can be presented to me as hadith that this happens ... Otherwise I dismiss such things ...
I have heard from people who have read books on magic that to really summon a Jinn the Qur'an ayats need to be recited in a strange order to twist the meanings and dirty filthy things are to be done such as consuming defecation and drinking blood ... these are neither the things a normal person would want to do nor would a Muslim be allowed to do ... I say for those who are really desperate to see a Jinn they go off and do such things and not waste our time here ...
Lastly, it is not my belief that the above is the way to summon Jinn, because the methods are not something established by Islam, but I guess logically that is the only way it can be done because anything putrid and debasing makes the angels leave that area ...
The verses of the Qur'an are blessed including Surah Jinn reading those verses will give you spiritual reward.

Well said. This should end this useless and ignorant debate.
Not really. Both Prophet Mohammed and Hazrat Suleman AS had powers to summon a Jinn. Such powers are available through Allah, but not to commoners, and certainly not through reciting Sura-e-Jin.
Of course summoning a Jinn can be achieved by the select. The context I meant it in was for the lay folk who are hell bent to be mischievous with their intent for seeing a Jinn and in direct response to the OP … Who is attempting to see if there is a science related to summoning Jinn and hence using any such ambiguity to shine bad light on Islam … Not agreeing with her method I stated that if any person wishes to prove the existence of Jinn in an objective manner then that method should be sought from within our scriptures (if it’s there) or else whatever chosen method is being used one needs to question the method as well as whether the person’s propensity to summon is high or not first before they question Islam.
psyah, have you hired jinx to agree with everything you say? like a chamcha? or are you him?
Brother Jinx obviously wants silly debates to be curtailed ... What I wrote he could have written well in advance of me ... But I was the one who fell for this thread as bait and chewed it ... He was being nice to me ... He was the better person for avoiding the de-bait
lol. you are funny philosophy chanda. I did not mind at all what you said. My jaw dropped 3 feet down though thinking what if you come to know my age? You would not address in same manner to your elder brohter or father, I am sure.
But chamcha is great. You have your own and you are of others and psyah has me. Good deal
