has anyone tried

Re: has anyone tried

As I wrote earlier that this book is a book of sign not a book of science. So whatever revealed 1400 years ago is a sign for non-believers. That what I meant here.

Re: has anyone tried

I suppose so. However, i have yet to find a convert who converted due to the scientific revelations in Islam. What they have always spoken of is an internal realization or spiritual awakening so to speak.

Re: has anyone tried

It is my faith that Jinn are real ... it is not my faith that recitation of Surah Jinn a certain number of times will release Jinn unless it can be presented to me as hadith that this happens ... Otherwise I dismiss such things ...

I have heard from people who have read books on magic that to really summon a Jinn the Qur'an ayats need to be recited in a strange order to twist the meanings and dirty filthy things are to be done such as consuming defecation and drinking blood ... these are neither the things a normal person would want to do nor would a Muslim be allowed to do ... I say for those who are really desperate to see a Jinn they go off and do such things and not waste our time here ...

Lastly, it is not my belief that the above is the way to summon Jinn, because the methods are not something established by Islam, but I guess logically that is the only way it can be done because anything putrid and debasing makes the angels leave that area ...

The verses of the Qur'an are blessed including Surah Jinn reading those verses will give you spiritual reward.

Re: has anyone tried

Well said. This should end this useless and ignorant debate.

Re: has anyone tried

Not really. Both Prophet Mohammed :saw2: and Hazrat Suleman AS had powers to summon a Jinn. Such powers are available through Allah, but not to commoners, and certainly not through reciting Sura-e-Jin.

Re: has anyone tried

Depends on individual's experience. Almigthy Allah knows best.

Re: has anyone tried

Peace TLK

Of course summoning a Jinn can be achieved by the select. The context I meant it in was for the lay folk who are hell bent to be mischievous with their intent for seeing a Jinn and in direct response to the OP … Who is attempting to see if there is a science related to summoning Jinn and hence using any such ambiguity to shine bad light on Islam … Not agreeing with her method I stated that if any person wishes to prove the existence of Jinn in an objective manner then that method should be sought from within our scriptures (if it’s there) or else whatever chosen method is being used one needs to question the method as well as whether the person’s propensity to summon is high or not first before they question Islam.

Re: has anyone tried

psyah, have you hired jinx to agree with everything you say? like a chamcha? or are you him?

Re: has anyone tried

Brother Jinx obviously wants silly debates to be curtailed ... What I wrote he could have written well in advance of me ... But I was the one who fell for this thread as bait and chewed it ... He was being nice to me ... He was the better person for avoiding the de-bait

Re: has anyone tried

 get a life.

Re: has anyone tried

Yes ma’am ! :salute:

Re: has anyone tried

lol. you are funny philosophy chanda. I did not mind at all what you said. My jaw dropped 3 feet down though thinking what if you come to know my age? You would not address in same manner to your elder brohter or father, I am sure.

But chamcha is great. You have your own and you are of others and psyah has me. Good deal :hehe:

Re: has anyone tried

^ I like it, but not the chamcha part … May be chacha, but not chamcha… Please brother Jinx …

:bummer:

Re: has anyone tried

Jinx called philosophy - chanda!

please explain if she is chanda as in moon, or chanda as in donation?

Re: has anyone tried

Or chanda as in "deary"

Re: has anyone tried

talk-- chanda--as in "im gonna be a sarcastic sob and try to put philosophy down by acting condescending because i have nothing better to contribute"

Re: has anyone tried

chamcha is great if you really think about it

It is at least better than the weird sounding word chamchi.

On a positive note, I have my own personal quote regarding usage of chamcha:

“Chamcha is nothing but a true admirer.”

Re: has anyone tried

also reminds me of chanda battery in Pakistan. Not sure if it still exists.
