Well Hey Ram is out, has anyone seen it. I have heard that it is causing alot of protest in India because of the violent content and also the image portrayed by Kamal Hasan of Gandhi!
I am planning to watch it in Pittsburgh on Sunday amd the thing is that I have to drive two hours, someone tell me is is worth it. Last time I watched Pukar and it was a waste of 6 dollars, time and all that gas!

Its a TV movie rather than a theatre movie...
Its sure to contest in the Intl. Movie Festivals around the world.
Overall, I thought the movie was daring and bold, but yes... a lot of violence and a lot of biased opinion. Its mainly based upon the philosophy behind Gandhi's assasination.
I went in there basically to see Naseer and Shahrukh but both of them had only a couple of scenes to themselves.
I would say wait for a DVD or somefin.
On a scale of 1 - 10, this one was like 7...
Don't waste your time with this movie -- it sucks big time !! Unnecessary sex, violence (which can be understood to some extent given the subject)....but some of the sex scenes were unnecessary and and so were a couple of the songs. On top of that the movie is too long.
7 out of 10, I think I should go ahead and watch it then! Just tell me if it is better than pukaar. If it is I am going, otherwise no.
I'd definitely agree with BombayKid as to the sexuality content in the movie...
but then again, these days its only that which makes a movie "bold" ... haha!
Guyz if u want my advice, wait for the video!
