Stand By Me. & The Shawshank Redemption, imho, are the best books by Steven King.
I don't read him anymore though because I guess I'm not into novels of horror anymore.
I prefer fantasy these days.
Try Xanth series by Piers Anthony and see if they give you a buz.
I’ve always prefer Harror & Suspense, AvgAmericanGirl and always loved Stephen King’s work.
I may read book of Piers Anthon, mentioned by you, on Thanksgiving break.
