Has Anyone made a replica of this??

Any pics of the replica and how much did it cost?

Thanks in advance!

Re: Has Anyone made a replica of this??

original is for 80000rs for the top only and you wont believe it doesnt have a SINGLE stone used ! :naraz: it is all sequins and glass beads and pearls, extremely heavy weight-wise,esp the last pink wide border which is madly filled with pink, orange and purple beads.

If we have a homebased designer make an outfit for even 10k without ‘loads’ of stones, sari dunya uss bechari kay peechhay par jayegi

Re: Has Anyone made a replica of this??

^ seriously! Some People have a special pleasure in having a ‘designer’ piece no matter what they get for the price. Ayesha Hashwani had an exhibition in lahore last week. One of my friends got an outfit for someone and it was for 38k and it had a stitched, unlined shirt, UNSTITCHED atal fabric for lining,UNSTITCHED pure chiffon PLAIN dupatta with a formal kaam wali shirt, AND UNSTITCHED PAKISTANI GRIP 300rs wala fabric for pants. :smack: ab batao.. Yeh harkat koi homebased designer karay tau uska kya hashar ho: You google up bechari’s name and first 5 results will be negative reviews for her  but AFH made lacs of rupees out of that exhibition and made many women sleep in peace that day :halo:

sorry holymoly for derailing your thread :bummer: proto runs away

proto, you should start a blog or something, we really need your insights :)

Re: Has Anyone made a replica of this??

np Proto, liked your comments.

I don't think i find any pleasure in having any designer piece, infact i dont even care who is the designer of the dress or how much the original costs. My sister liked the design and i wanted to get a cheap copy of it for her, since i know she's gona wear it for once only i don't want to waste my hard earned 10s of thousands on it. She's not even going to tell anyone its a designer or which designer's since no one in our community knows or cares about any pakistani designer. She;s simply happy for having a pakistani dress.

As for me, i am so kunjoos on myself that i dont even bother having my dresses stitched by a tailor, i sew my dresses myself at home :D

Re: Has Anyone made a replica of this??

Can it be made with the broad sequin pattis/fabric available nowadays?
