Has anyone ever tried this?

Murghee (chicken) kay panjoun kaa soup?

{drinking/cooking or both?}

Havent tried it but heard about it.. dont see how its different from pai..
personally not my cup of tea. :(

Pai has the hoofs and skin removed

This thing has the whole feet … including the nails
and all
:yukh:

muniya i LOVE ure avatar!

G bhai i never have and i never will

The bit about nails is somewhat off-putting. btw, is it right that in some parts they fry chicken bones? Do they eat them or make some kind of soup?

i have never drank it..neither cooked it..but our neighbours in pakistan used to make them..and i heard from ammi kay kamzori dor karnay kay liay use hota hay..its usually given to old people and also to people with arthritis. Wallah Alam.. I think, ammi used to make soup for my dada..but i don't think that it had any nails..yuck.

It looks like clear soup...yahkni.

exactly! it is made in one of my auntie’s (chachi) home… I always heard about it.. never saw it neither tested it… as we always felt :yukh: about it.

Thank You

sar se le kar paon tak kha jate ho..kuch to rehne dia karo..

its just that we think about it in certain way..warna i have heard that if its given to you..you won't be able to tell the difference of it or yakhni. For eg, when i first tasted kata kat..it tasted great..and felt like qeema..but when i came to know the ingredients..after that i never ate kata kat..so, i am sure that chicken kay panjoon ka soup bhi taste theek karta hoga for those who don't think about it.

Sounds like a recipe for chicken broth... :)

Good and healthy to sip when one has the flu, colds, etc.

It is good for health

shahreen, a traditional kat-a-kat includes stir fried brain, kidney, heart and mutton chop

It Is Indeed Really Tasty. Tastes Much Like Any Other Normal Chicken Soup.

ok...

Cooking Chicken.

Southern Fried chicken.. 101.

Whip a couple eggs...milk, fresh ground pepper.

put in paper lunch bag..and shake..:)

Dip the chicken in the eggs/millk wash.

Coat the pieces...

Then...
Put in the paperbag with spices...and shake...em up.. to coat the chicken.

Olive Oil.....about a 1/4 cup in the fry pan... and maybe a touch of onion .

Lightly carmelize the onion..

Add another 1/4 - 1/2 cup Olive oil to the pan.

Add coated chicken..

Cover.

Let cook on stove for minimum 15 minutes on both sides.

Drain.

Meanwhile... Campbells cream of Mushroom soup... and 1/2 package of Motzarella cheese.. let slowly melt..and simmer.

On stovetop..boil some good fresh egg noodles... with a bit of broccoli..
