I just came back from Umrah 3 weeks ago. There is construction going on in Zam Zam towers, but I dont think it will matter to you. You will be very close to the Bab Umar Bin Abdul Aziz and to Bab-e-Fahd. There is also alot of construction going on at the opposite side of the Haram. But that shouldnt matter to you at all.
