I consulted an oral surgeon. He excised a specimen from my mouth. Results should be back by tomorrow. Meanwhile, my symptoms have gotten worse: my sinuses are very badly congested, shortness of breath, swollen esophagus, chest pain, and a very strong metallic taste in my mouth which has altered my normal perception. My doctor has now conducted a thorough blood & urine test, and they’ve also taken x-rays of my head as well as ultrasound tests of my neck and lymph nodes. All of the results should be available by tomorrow.
