My mamu wants to visit from pak. We in uk. He will apply from his side .But do we apply from here as well as him or is it only one application .And how do we give our "sponsor " details. Is it once he has applied?

You can't sponsor his application. The most you can do is give him an invitation to visit and stay which he would submit with his own application.

I'm not sure about UK rules but sponsorship is for blood relations like siblings/spouse/parents etc.
And as BC said earlier, you can and should send him a formal invite that he can present in the consulate/embassy. However for that try to show up a good reason like some wedding invite or your daughter's graduation for example. Or atleast some mutual travel plan where he is a part of it
