Has anoyone else noticed this?

I cooked meethi saivyaan in the afternoon and at that time they didn’t look or feel that much oily or greasy. I put them in the fridge and right now at 3 AM I reheated them for a minute and they have come out looking soooo shiny and oily.

What’s going on?

Re: Has anoyone else noticed this?

Is it sawiyan ka zarda, the dry one?? Then yes if u had too much oil in the cooking pan, the oil will show up later...

But since im not a cooking expert, not too sure abt it....... I'm sure someone else will know better.

Re: Has anoyone else noticed this?

Yeah exactly the dry one with pistachios and stuff. But I didn’t really have that much oil while cooking and after it was served, it looked aight too… that’s what I am wondering. Oh and after reheating it, it seems even more sweet :hmmm:

Re: Has anoyone else noticed this?

Dubaiwali , usually when you reheat food in the microwave ... due to intense heat the oil in the food gets released. What you have experienced with the sawaiya .. happens with the usual khana too ... The oil wont fully show up when its fresh .. but the minute you pop it in the microwave ... you will see the oil released ...

With sugars in food , its the same case ... they will taste sweeter when warm .. eat the same thing chilled and it will taste less sugary ....

Your fridge is haunted. Oil wala baba lives there and causes this.
