"Bloomies" is short for Bloomingdales, a high end department store. She's been living in NYC for a couple of years now. Her husband, Ammar Belal, is doing his Masters Degree in Fashion Design at Parsons School of Design

According to her LinkedIn she's working in luxury shoes at Bloomingdales since March 2014....good for her, it's better then sitting home all day lol

She's been away from showbiz for so long but she was a beauty in her days. Looking alright sans makeup but you can see she's not ageing too well. Btw her hubbys the son of Maria B's first husband, Belal Khawaja.

Interesting that she ran into R Tondon.
Also she mentioned that she is working a lot of hours and hasn’t gotten many weekends off and somebody asked her in comments why she is working so hard and goes on to say so she can ‘afford to live in NYC?’.

She seems really down to earth.. She's not afraid of taking pics when she's not looking her best and how many celebs (or ex celebs) would happily admit to working in a store.. even a high-end one..

^ I completely agree. Her attitude is very praise worthy. Mehnut ker rahee hai to support herself and her husband and is not embarrassed of it. Good for her.. Though I do wonder why she's lost the drive to take care of herself or lose weight. Probably coz she's past that? That somehow makes me sad, not for her but probably for me since she was a large part of my childhood and it's hard to come to terms with stuff that gets changed from your past. Like how every time I return to Lahore , I hate not being able to recognize it anymore.
but anyways that's just me.

It's still pretty hard to digest that she's working for money. For the sake of staying busy, maybe yes, but definitely not money.
Though estranged, she's still Mustafa Khar's daughter. Secondly, Ammar Belal's father is a wealthy industrialist. Do you really think these guys need to work to meet their daily expenses?

OMG!!! Me too. Seeing her like this made me sorta sad too because she was young and super hot and it makes me realize that i getting old too. :(
P.S: Does anyone know which NYC Bloomingdales is she working at? There are a couple of BD stores in NYC.

Bloomies is very high end store like Nieman Marcus, and Sacks 5th Avenue.

Bloomingdales is not on the same level as Nieman Marcus...it's still higher end, but a step down from NM
