Harry Potter star Jamie Waylett has been charged with growing cannabis at his parents house.
The teenager, who plays bully Vincent Crabbe in the hugely successful franchise, was first questioned by police in April after they allegedly found eight bags of the drug in his car.
Police then raided his mother’s London home, where they are said to have found more of the Class B drug.
A police official said, “He is charged with producing a Class B drug, namely cannabis.”
Waylett ,19, was absent from last night’s London premiere of **Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince](Yahoo is part of the Yahoo family of brands.).**
He will appear in court next month.
