Wa Baa'd:
I am aware of a non-Salafi distributor who distributes books here in Michigan, who was curious to see what this man was about, and visited him in Turkey. He was questioned on his 'Aqidah which he confirmed to be upon Wahdat ul-Wujood, or the existence of only Allaah, as the extreme Sufis and the Hindus believe. In addition, the women at the office did not cover at all and nobody could tell him which direction was the Kiblah. However, even after all of this, the publisher finds that the books have been "checked", and so continues to distribute the majority of them. He does not limit himself to writing about science-related topics, rather he has books even on Tafseer, and these publications are heavily promoted by his followers, in reality turning the Muslims from the Tafaseer of the Salaf. He does not list any qualifications, nor do his books contain any such "checker". His picture, which is found on the back of his books, is of a clear Faasiq, as he removes most of his beard. al-Hamdu-Lillaahi Rabbil-'Aalameen was-Salaatu was-Salaamu 'alaa Ashrafil-Anbiyaa.e wal-Mursaleen, wa ba'd:
As-Salaamu alaikum wa Rahmatullaah,
First and foremost my dear brother, we must ask ourselves is the religion which "Harun Yahya" is calling to in his books and on his websites the same religion of Muhammad (sallallaahu 'alayhe wa sallam)?
Considering the replies to your earlier post, that "Harun Yahya" has in his works the words of soofees like "Imaam" Rabbaani and Muhyiddeen ibn 'Arabi which are known to be callers to Wahdat ul-Wujood (Unity of Existence). Then we can certainly say that the answer is NO, this is not the religion of Muhammad (sallallaahu 'alayhe wa sallam).
You have to ask yourself, These kufaar whom you are calling to Islaam, and may Allaah reward you for that, would they be any closer to entering paradise if they said they worshipped nothing other than Allaah while believeing that Allaah was intertwined with all of the existance?
Consider that if those kufaar read his books & view his website they may say "La Illaha Illa Allaah", however they will be doing this thinking that thier Rub is in thier house, the sun, the chair, the sufi shaykh, etc. becuase this is the end result of the Wahdat ul-Wujood. This "Harun Yahya" is either ignorant of Islaam, in which case you should not be sending anyone to him; or he is knowledgeable of Islaam and is trying to call people to an evil way other than that of The Prophet Muhammad (sallallaahu 'alayhe wa sallam), in which case you should not be sending anyone to him.
So, my dear brother you see that by calling these kufaar to "Harun Yahya" you may actually be calling them to just another form of shirk, and of coarse this is not what any of us wants.
I suggest for more information on this subject you read the work of the Mujedid, Mohammad ibn Abdul-Wahhab's "Kashf ash Shubuhaat".

As Salaamu `Alaykum,
Harun Yahya is not a real name, it is an alias for "Adnan Oktar" who is a Turkish "Intellectual".
His materials are all focused around invitation to Ruboobiyyah.
The general thrust seems to be unity of religions with emphasis upon morality, justice etc. A person could read his materials and come back thinking "Islam, Christianity and Judaism all call to the same thing".
Overall there is hardly any dependence upon the Sunnah in his materials and it might be the case that the people / individuals / organisations etc. behind this "brand name" of "Harun Yahya" actually reject the Sunnah, and consider it to be something that divides the Muslims rather than unite them.
There are oppositions to the aqeedah of the Salaf in his works, amongst them references and exposition of the doctrine of Wahdat ul-Wujood (Unity of Existence).
