saw it today -- the film is totally hilarious, albeit a little racy....and sit till after the credits to get a whiff of the sequel!

I am going to watch it in an hour. From the commercials and thinking of the first movie, this will NOT be a movie that you want to watch with family (ladies). It will have nudity/partial nudity.

2004's Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle, earned a piddling $18 million in theaters but grossed $60 million on DVD. Amazing that a movie made more money in DVD sales.
And now Harold & Kumar Escape From Guantanamo Bay debuted at #2 with $14.5 million. I think all the male youngsters are flocking to this movie

Yeah do NOT see it with your family, or even female friends if any.
Its too much nudity/vulgarity…but at points for no reason!!! Doesn’t even add humor…grrrrrr
I sadly went to see this unknowingly, without reading reviews or seeing previews. I had to walk out.

^afro....i saw a part of the first one...the white castle one...(don't recall the exact name...),when it came out...and i agree,it was just senseless...no humor ,nothing...pretty pathetic...

^^ Man the film and its sequel were hilarious...its aimed at the college going, younger male crowd with leftie inclinations. If you're a mulla or an uncle these films are not for you.
For those who're going to watch the film, do check out the threesome-with-weed sequence...its quite a stunner!

one disgusting piece of work!
I went to the movies after 20 months with my hubby only bcoz ammi was visiting so thought why not take advantage of a ammi/nanno babysitter. I wan in the mood for something light and funny. So, we go and i tell you the entire time i wanted to puke at the director/producer and actors!!!
Khair, the saddest part was we went to see the last show. There was a young couple there with their 4 year old daughter. She sat through the entire show. I wanted to kill her parents. I even went out to complain but since it was the last show. All the employees of the cinema were no where to be found. Khair, i saw the couple coming out of their car so i recognized the car on my way out and noted their number plate and come monday morning first thing will be a call to social services!!

^^ Awww, poor you. I saw it with my elder bro and we didnt have any problems. The film does push the envelope though in terms of what you can show for a film with an "R" rating.
