Hari Pagri Vale

The first time when I heard about this group, I had the impression of some mullah preaching his faith cuz not only the name sounds weird but later I also heard that their members are encouged to wear only white shalwar kameez and green pagri. Apparently these people are very famous all over Pakistan.

I sort of argued about this whole thing with my cousin cuz I don’t think you need to join some specific group/organization to polish your faith.. but he brought up some Islamic verses out of no where to prove that what they preach is right even though I didn’t have the slightest idea what he was talking about. So I’m interested, what do these guys preach? what are their motives etc.

Islam has become something strange these days. Strange, Sad, Soothening.

They only are some of practicing muslims, most likely from the Barelvi School of thought of Ahl-e-Sunnah wal Jamaat.

Good muslims, you will find among them as good as you will find in School of Deo Bund. Followers of Sufi Ism, Tariqat and Zikr as you will find many in Deo Bund.

There are minor difference of opinions but that don't make them out of Islam.

just wanted to pop in and say that if u call it a PAGRI they get offended ;) they will clearly state that its not a PAGRI its an IMAMAH :)

white, black and green amaamah's look nice.

I just said what I heard, but i'm thinking now.. is there any difference between pagri and imamah?

Hari pagri wale...OoOoOo...Babu bholay bhaalay...OoOoOo...:Pagri:

hah

hari pagri vale.....where my cuzins live in pk...there r loads of these hari pagri vale (also known as totay(parrot) or hare totay).........they ve got a huge medressah and mosques in tht area......they r big jokers blv me....one guy told me tht he once attended a (so called) dhikr gathering in their mosque and he told me tht " thursday ki raat ko isha kay baad sub lights off ker kai hari pagri valo nay qalabazeean or jumpein marni shru ker deen" he didnt go to another one again.......i once went to a hari pagri valon ki masjid for jummah prayer and i was listening to the khutbah and it didnt make any sense (na koi ser na paer).....they r some sufi/barelvi wierdos thts all

Well,
I don wear Imamah but I know that how much respectable thing is that. and you dont have any right to say someone a joker or something like that.

Allah :swt: has blessed them with the right direction and they are strugling to get other people on the same path. Masha Allah

And jahan tak the above guy is concerned i never ever seen or heard about this thing. Us La’anti Insaan say poochho why they will jump in Masjid, Masjid ki tazeeem kay khilaaf hai yeh.

Ab tumharay dil per talay lag chukay hain to in main kisi ki kia ghalti hai. Allah :swt: nay farmaya keh jo inssan jitni koshish kerrta hai us ko utna hi milta hai.

Allah :swt: tumhain aur ham sab ko hadayat naseeb fermaye Aameen suma Aameen

:amamah:

Moulana faisal sahib, you look sensational:D

I know I do. Thank you. Back to hari pagri walay.

:Pagri:

The spelling of the smilie is wrong. The correct word is “Amamah” with a “zabar” on “Ain.”

I think what the green Amamah symbolizes is the favorite color of the prophet :saw: and truley I do not see any rationality in the kind of replies or even in gestures, funny as they describe, put in this post.

Hmm..
I think the problems starts when some one starts preaching that only green coulour is sunnah..and insisting on painting all pakistan green....

however it is recomended to call it ammah as they all wear it considering it sunnah.....so it is ammamah not pagri....

MAles look great in black or white ammah.......dont they?

^ what does imamah/ amamah mean?

I Love Them

They R So Nice :k:
