first the motherboard had 2 be replaced, i guess that happened cuz of the power fluctuation but now the hardrive if i was in canada, i m sure they wud have given me a replacement laptop already .

kyaaaaaaaaaaa? what happened was that i ws using it while charging the battery n the system crashed. later my sis told me that the switch thru which it was being charged, had some power issues. so we assumed it happened cuz of it.

and good switch bad switch evil switch, your laptop is isolated from power fluctuations coz it takes in a fixed dc supply from the power brick. which has an almost fail-proof regulator. how old is this leptap?
