so whaddaya think counts in making the distant targets? say.. 200+yards away?
i would say lungs and heart play the most important role.. anyone can aim right, but from pressing that trigger to the metal escaping the barrel, the grip, the aim, can ONLY be maintained from breathing right and controlling that jerk.. yes that lil jerk that makes the difference between a ‘shot’ or ‘not’
i remember before our all-karachi junior brigade sharp-shooting competition, our instructor used to say, pretend u r a stone.. stones dont breath, stones dont move, stones dont blink.. ONLY then u would be able to make that 1inch circle from 50 yards..

canadian govt is strict on firearms and licensing issues.. i’m trying to get (somehow) an urban sniper just to start practicing with.. but again, its close to impossible..
back in karachi before we moved here, i was successfully making 1" bullsyes from 32 yards.. we were using old-school three.not.three singleshot rifles without scope.
with scope and a decent 1moc sniper rifle i can spend 1-2 days and shoot from 100yds into a 1.5" ring..
i really wanna get lessons.. my instructor backhome once made a 200+yds shot at a mobile target.
"200+yds shot at a mobile target"? Daaaamn! A mobile target? So, you're good as long as the target doesn't move and you have to stop breathing? :) ha! Need to work on your shooting skills, buddy!
urban sniper.... the hell! Yup... that's license to give to a maulvi (they wouldn't care for the adjective that defines you).
I really want to get a CCL in Texas (Conceal and Carry License) but I am BBS.... and my "instructor" has given me clear guidelines on this issue. I used to collect Soldier of Fortune, Navy Seals, Guns and Ammo and various Army magazine but my collection got "filed" after the M-Day.
