^ just hand in there cherrybell - are you a new grad? if so, then it's certainly more difficult to get your step in the door as compared to others who already have experience and are also looking for jobs.
For new grads, my advice is to get into any type of gainful employment for now which is even remotely related to what you want to end up doing. It might feel peripheral, distracting, or even meager in comparison with your career objectives, but taking up an entry-level position will enable you to at least keep yourself busy and further develop certain intangible workplace skills. The key is not to get too complacent in such a position, and keep working towards either finding the job that you want or keep advancing your professional credentials to make yourself more marketable. I can't stress the latter enough, because when the job market opens up, there's going to be an overflow of job candidates, and you will need to somehow differentiate yourself from the rest of the bunch, so make sure you're working towards that starting now.

Thanks Lucid Chaotic for the advice. I am a new grad and it is really hard to get a job in this kind of economy. I have applied all over and believe it is hard and frustruating.

Are you selective in finding a job ? Are you looking for a job in your own field ? Will you accept any job which pay some bills ? What is your major ? Graduate or undergrad ? I will provide you pointers after I get answers to my questions.

Charitable organization khol lo or logon ko mashwerey do House keeping & sales person ban’ney key or ju DESI KANJOOS MAKHI CHOOS kam se kam salary per housekeeper rakhna chahty hain woh aisi hi agencies se rabta kerty hain or in ko shaid kuch de dila daity hon becharey ju majbor log in ke pass help ke liey atty hain unhain ye housekeeping main phansa daity hain try this business charon ghi main sir karahi main hu ga. Her waqat rona bhi haey FUNDS nahi hain donations nahi hain alag sachi poor and needy will think oh Allah they are ghareeb then me inhin hi dai de meri khair hai:D

Well you know that muhawra, “Maiya ko khenchy Maiya ker ker lambey hath” If you have a business this kind of trust or organization will help you to save on your taxes and donations free ke State & Fed also have funds for them and Rewards:D As I have read once in Bay Area State give Reward or Award whatever to a MUSLIM lady who engaged needy people in GAINFUL JOBS and believe me jobs are housekeeping, janitorial jobs, care giving and babysitting

We're generally talking about a bad economy and how an entry-level position that might seem peripheral to one's career objectives may be a way to sustain oneself and ride out the trough while trying to upgrade one's skillsets for better marketability.
Bushra Ji par kam kiay bina pesha milna bhi to OKHA kam hai na. jab tak koshish na karein gay kahan say ay gi Maya? han ab har koi ap jesa ameer kabeer bhi nai k farig reh kar bhi fikar na ho. Dua hai k allah ap ko or zyada day.
wesay kamal hai na koi job bhi nai kartien or busy bhi hein. wesay house wife or mama hona hi 24 hours job hai.

hey i know how you feel...i graduated six months ago and i have 4 years work experience but i have not been able to get a single job. i've even applied at grocery stores because i am so broke (actually getting in debt next month) but for some reason no one calls me.

Cherryball I know exactly how you feel I am almost £40,000 in debt because of my studying and no prospects of the job I want.
What types of job are you looking for? Have you been to see your careers advisor?

its all supply demand...depends so much on the profession u choose and at what time u actually come out of college (hopefully not during a recession !)...my experience...hard to find the first job...uske baad u have experience and u improve ur chances
well it is also a matter of luck and most importantly connections...
I have been working part time with my studies since my metric examinations and fulltime in summer holidays... earning handsomely, though living a messed up life in return... but i am financially strong that way...
