Not sure teggy, they boast with this "intelliPower" Rotational speed in the specs section.
But looking a the rest of the specs, it's probably 72000 RPM.
Also there is no mention of the MTBF value's. Which I find very important when buying a hard drive.
I personally don't buy any other drive than Seagate. Those are the best at the moment.
I was considering Seagate too, but i've only used seagate once. All my current drives are WD, so thought i'd go with WD as usual. Never had any issues with 'em in the past.
Now, you said you don't know much about this particular one. But looking at the specs, would you say this will suffice for Windows 7 setup, etc..etc..? As far as setup and durability goes...?
Teggy, I would buy two hard drives but not western digital. My choice is same as gizzy, get seagate and do RAID-1 (mirror with parity). These days, as manufacturers test new technologies, etc. hard drives are crashing more often so protect your self and invest in two.

Don't you mean MTTF? Hard drives are not really meant to be repaired once they fail, unless its mission critial data and you don't have backups.
