I just accidently deleted my PICTURES folder the “official” one from my Hard Disk. That is 63 GB worth of photos. 19,356 to be exact. 6 years of collection gone. Someone suggested I use a recovery software but I don’t know any. Anyone can help me out?

there are different softwares to recover image files easily. Although you already have been provided some so do use them I hope you will recover more than 80% of your lost images.

Recovering files isn’t a problem, aslong as the sectors that the files were on aren’t overwritten with new data.

Kinzz used RECUVA software and recovered files from the hard disk they were deleted on to another hard disk.

I have no idea kitni dair pehle apne computer theik karwaya. Try karke dekh le. Download RECUVA and try it out.

Files on the hard-drive don’t get deleted when you hit the delete key. Their reference, however, does, from the Master Boot Record (MBR). When that happens the computer knows that it can use that space to record more information.
As Rashid pointed out, if you overwrite those same sections of the drive that the original file resided on then its gone.
If your drive can’t be accessed or you think you would need to do any recovery project
STOP USING THE DRIVE.
You can use the utility Namaan mentioned, Recuva for most of these issues. For higher end ones there is an application called SpinRite that I’ve been hearing good thing about:
