The problems just don’t seen to get over for India. The Indian team was celebrating its eight-wicket win over South Africa yesterday when the news came in that star off-spinner Harbhajan Singh is being reported for illegal bowling action by the International Cricket Council match referee Jeff Crowe.
Crowe, who is a former New Zealand Test cricketer, told coach John Wright that he thinks the ‘doosra’ that Harbhajan bowls is not delivered with a clean action and he will have to bring it to the ICC’S notice.
Our sources in the Indian team tell us that Harbhajan was furious at the development.
It may be recalled that Harbhajan was reported for chucking in 1998 and was sent to England to work with Fred Titmus to correct his action.

Yes, all chuckers inlcuding Akhtar, Shabbir Ahmed and Shoaib Malik should be banned.

Bitter jee I can understand your frustration with Harbhajan being called for throwing, but the mauling in Australia was done to our batsmen not bowlers.
Well it is not about being biased but fact of the matter is that sardar jee chucks a lot. It may be FALSE news as per circinfo ( which is one of the most biased website anyway) but whenever you see him bowling the first thing that comes into your mind is "damn this clown chucks...is he a watta bowler"......it is OK when chuckers bowl normal BUT when they try bowling Doosara, they bend their arm more than normal and it takes attention of cricket officials. Lets not make it India-Pakistan issue and be honest about it. Yes shoaib chucks when he bowls his super fast delivery and yes Sardar harbhajan also chucks almost on every ball. And it is not fair that chucker harbhajan is getting all these wickets unfairly. If you can go after Murli why not harbhajan…..or may be India has a strong bargaining power these days.. after all their skipper has been relieved of a ban too….what a joke…
Alot of bowlers have gone through this. They get reported and then they train and then they are cleared. I feel that Harbajjan is nothing compared to Kumble. But even if he does chucks, which i have no idea about, he will eventually get cleared.

I don't think anyone is making a india-pakistan issue and if it's the case then off course it's sad thing. To me bret lee and shoaib are the biggest chuckers. especially read the report in which they discussed the action of shoiab in slow frame rate ...also ICC report which is available at cricinfo and other unbiased sites, says 99% chuck, that' takes care of all the matter..everybowler is a chucker.....You off course would not see Shoiab and why would u, he's the strike bowlers you have...You see we can keep on discussing out here and giving arguments, but at the end of the day, like proudpakistani said, he would be cleared.. people are crying abt spinners being chuckers and getting wickets. the fact that both these spinners have awkward action, says a lot. Yes india does have a strong bargaining power. No doubt abt it..if you had, you are living in dark...where else the cricket world is making the money from...although australia is gonna whop india's ass in the next series, still they want it before the ICC 10 year calendar and they both would do it...u know why, because India and australis are the only coutries to have not signed on the ICC 10 year plan..
