There is a difference between self respect and ego. ego is negativity. self respect is respecting others while not degrading oneself

no. It means if you have self respect for yourself then you can respect and make others to respect your loved one... aadmi zameen pe bicha qaleen nahin hota.

No one is qaleen, no one deserved to be qaleen. What my point is we shouldn't let someone go easily,regardless, If this person still wants to leave then it's yes his/her lose.

self respect doesn't restrict you to stop leaving your loving ones. ego does so. self respect makes you realise that other party has a personality and therefore it makes you behave in a way that doesn't hurt people to leave you
