Hahahahah, thanks for the chuckle… “their land untill Attock back”…

How can a desert like Afghanistan take anything back from the great land of Pakistan? The land you refer to belongs to Pakistan and to those that inhabit those regions. Afghanistan gave it to the British a long time ago and lost all ownership to it and we Pakistanis won it from the British so it is ours… The people of those regions detest Afghans and would never want to be a part of Afghanistan after all Afghanistan is a country with no future and the Pashtuns of Pakistan don’t want that for their future generations.
You guys can’t have your cake and eat it too.
If you are going to claim that “Afghan” is a ethnicity then admit that it only refers to Pashtuns whilst Tajiks are foreigners in Afghanistan as Khushal Khan Khattak said…
If you are going to claim that the meaning has changed and it is now a nationality for anyone from Afghanistan regardless of ethnicity then you can’t claim Pakistani Pashtuns as Afghans.
As for being similarities between Pashtuns and Tajiks, well to me Pashtuns evolved quite seperately from the other Iranic groups such as Tajiks, Parsiwans, Balochs etc. and have as much cultural links with the Indic group than with the Iranic. This idea of Iranic and Indic being completely seperate is exaggerated, there’s overlaps in places… Besides a lot of Pukhtoons and Punjabis are intermarried and speak Urdu: a language which descends from the Sanskrit language of the Vedic Civilisation of the Indus-Valley (a.k.a Ancient-Pakistan).
