^ No need for another pagan holiday. The mother in law should be part of Mother's day....she is your husband's mother and thus by extrapolation she is a mother figure to you as well.

Olympics and world cup are also once every 4 years, makes them special.
and where its not special e.g. winter olympics, its makes them more tolerable.

I don't care much about viewership figures. The shows I watch have very low viewership figures anyways. What's special to me may not be special to others.
