you mean the ones who showed their friendship towards us by trying to hack this site and launching their DOS attacks yesterday? in that case the last smiley is indeed appropriate.
but to the friendly indian pals we have here who we engage in funny discussions as wel as serious debates and occassional flames and all, them guys deserve nothing less than a heart greeting on their independence day.
no man, guys like queer and malhot and denada are diff, 180 degrees from the type of scum that tried to hack the site. why should we not offer our heartiest congrats to them just because some of their countrymen cant stand us.
I actually went to lunch with some Tata Consulting folks today to a south Indian joint. had fun, good food and all. I am suffering from meat deficiency syndrome and must have some kebabs soon.
from what I have heard and seen a good company. I dotn work with the consultants much anymore but used to last year but all of them have now rolled off projects and gone back to India. the last oneis leaving in a few weeks, so had lunch with him and some other guys on teh 15th.

fraudiaji, were they very professional while talking to you or were they snooty?:)
they were very good. excellent guys in general. With one of them it became a friendship more than just a client-consultant deal. he is back in India now but I was invited to his wedding and we keep in touch on a weekly basis.
I would add that some guys need a little more polish for US corporate world, just better grooming and how the present themselves but they tend to be the junior consultants on their first overseas assignment.
Sometimes they are in over their head because the staffing person saw they had some skills and threw them in and they struggle needing more direction than one would think they would need but then they will do what they need to do to deliver. All in all, a good company and good group of people to work with.
Maybe on this occasion of the 60th anniversary, India can open its doors to her neighbor- allow Pakistanis free pass- treat them the way she treats Nepali citizens. India can ease tension with Pakistan by working towards Kashmir dispute. Pakistani Punjabis are always kind to Sikh Pilgrims- maybe India should let Pakistanis visit Khwaja Chisti's tomb or something like that.
… no no lakkis , instead u should’ve suggest him to send his photos to agents in hollywood and grab a quick role in any of the upcoming flicks , they’re always in search of " good looking guys" plus y work from 9-5 at an office for mere thousand bucks when one could earn millions just because of good looks
maybe I can forward my resume to you after college and u can offer me something- I am intelligent, smart and very hard-working. You dont have to spend $$ on headhunters. Pakistanis should help fellow countrymen.

Moin, let me speak seriously for a minute here.
1) I will help you, even before you graduate depending on your field, if you are a techie then there are really good I/T folks here who can give you some guidance
2) You should be getting some good internship experience right now, hopefully you are doing something like that
3) Depending on degree, institution, need, it is hard for a Pakistani graduate from a Pakistani institution with Pakistani experience and residing in pakistan to get a job in US and get sponsored for visa. Just so you know.
4) You may want to deal with your views about race, ethnicity and faith. It will not fly in corporate environment.
