There is one negative comment i may have on 70th Independence day of Pakistan!
None, and i say none of the political parties of past or present built any national narrative and/or loyality to Pakistan.
We have Loyalists to Bhuttos, Altaf Hussain, Nawaz Shareef, Imran Khan but none of the political party trained or allowed loyality to country and nation.
Today 14 August!!! we have all political parties crying their grievances but none did anything on national level to construct nationalism.
I must say, PTI is worst in this as it have used this precious day for political mileage and have killed any chance of National Unity.
Every thing cant be dictated by law or regulatory authority…i may have doubt on the loyality of So-Called National leader who do nothing to unite the war-stricken nation.
This shows how earlier rulers distorted the history. It was unfortunate that Pakistan did not have real honest rulers earlier who could set the direction of the country to democracy, development, prosperity soon after its creation. During the rules of dictators and their hand picked corrupt politicians destroyed this beautiful and self sufficient country, when Sindh was exporting surplus wheat to India.
Pakistan ki kismat main sirf jhooth aor makari qismat main milli.
When we talk about freedom… we need to give same education system to poor … we need to give same opportunity of employment to under privilege people… we need to give same set of freedom to minorities to play their actives faith and culture… we need to give equal justice (from powerful general, rich politician and helpless farm worker)

This is really a sadest part for pakistan at the moment. We lost our identity… Nationalism is very low at the moment. and ethnic / provincial bias at its peak. Even for ppl it is clear reason to vote . They will vote for a party that is majority from their province so as if the get into power most of the resources of country will be spent on their province region. There is no single party who has strong base all along pakistan. PPP of past is really being missed at this moment. PTI had a great chance but I believe they lost it and direction they are getting will make them more and more polarized in future. PML-N purposely made their image as a one province party . AKA " JAAG PUNJABI JAAG " slogan… As for JI and JUI - F , the less we talk the better it is . Khi and baloch parties are already not in main stream. So I dont see any hope of real national party ( a common acceptable base for Pakistanis from all corners ) . So sad but it is reality.
Somehow I know far more people born on this date than any other.
