Well a man who leaves his own country to establish residence abroad is not a traitor but definitely not a patriot. He worked in government for years. He was awarded many national awards and he up and left.
So oh well.
You wouldnt want to live in a country that calls you a Kafir and denies you religious freedom.
You should be ashamed of yourself for such a stupid comment.
And that is why he left the country by choice never came back and invested in Italy instead of Pakistan.
Because Pakistans govt didnt allow him to open up his research institute in Pakistan. They claimed it was his luxury project and had no merit. Another words, it was meant to be built in Pakistan, but was declined by the Pakistani govt.
Sad then that you still think the label of Kafir was justified and the Bhutto did the right thing...
We should learn to live with love , differences don't matter . I am not a hater . Having many good friends among Qadianis . Unfortunately all of them availed opportunity to shift abroad

Jasai pakistan kai halath, I think the only ones who wouldnt avail such an opportunity would be the fauna and flora.
There was an Ahmadi who was murdered last year who was one of the top Cardiologists in the US. If he hadnt returned he would have been alive today and could have made the difference in the lives of countless heart patients. Thats what you get for returning to Pakistan. And then the idiots on this forum will still fault an Ahmadi for wanting to leave the country as Salam did. Lets see where their loyalty to Pakistan goes when its those fools who are being shot at.
Thanks to people like Bhutto trying to save his own skin (little good that did him), Pakistan has alienated even more of her citizens, and deprived the country of an entire community of industrious and well educated people. Shame.

I agree but the conditions are dangerous for all . Don't consider it special for Qadianis , I didn't see any special hate wave against them since long . Mulla ..... even each other normally
Bilawal Bhutto is ridiculed for living abroad and paying lip service to Pakistan.
Imran Khan is ridiculed for his British Nationality and so much about his family.
Abdus Salam left Pakistan by choice and decided never to return by choice even though he was the premier science guy in the government.
Baby Bhutto also has Pakistani nationality. Good for him. Means we shouldn't ridicule him? Good to know.
I don't give a flying **** where he prays, who he prays to or what he does. He left the country lived abroad for a good 30 years and never contributed to Pakistan after the 1970s. Just like the Bhuttos or Sharifs scurry off abroad when things get to hot to handle Dr. Salam did the same. Same actions equals to same reaction in my book.
Bilawal is not using any lip service , He is quiet silent . Reason is known , He is the only young & brave leader of Pakistan . Don't count him in the list of 90% British Imran Khan . And there was an immediate reaction of Dr Abdulsalam but he was a great Pakistani

He has british natonality. I don't care who it is. Our laws state you can not be a leader or an MP or anything regarding politics if you have dual nationality. In that regard Governor Sarwar is a much better leader than Bilawal will ever be.
He wants to be a leader come back to Pakistan, give up your British nationality and lead from Pakistan.
Right now Altaf Hussian and Bilawal Bhutto are just the same. They sit in the UK. They have British Nationality and they run political Parties in Pakistan and they don't care about Pakistan.

It is particularly dnagerous for Ahmadis and Shia. Ahmadis are an especially hated group who are targeted.
The Taliban and other terrorists only target Sunnis who are affiliated with the State (Army, govt, police etc) For a Sunni to remain safe he simply needs to avoid certain places... Not an ideal solution, but a Sunni isnt targeted for being Sunni.
Ahmadis are targeted for simply existing. An Ahmadi can be a civilian with no connection to govt or state, can be old, young, woman or child. It doesnt matter, Ahmadis are targeted regardless, simply for being. There are groups out there who believe they are wajabul qatal, something no one believes off Sunnis. Shias are hated by many and many also believe they are wajabul qatal, but far fewer people believe that of them than those who believe its right to murder Ahmadis.
Also Ahmadis have no political power. The politicians see them as a political liability (at best), and will never take up their cause unlike the case with Shia (and Hindu and Christians), who still have political clout and who still get lip service from Politicians. Another words, you can say you support the rights of Shia, Hindu and Christians , but you sayng you believe Ahmadis have rights in Pakistan is political suicide... It might even make you eligible of death.
So Pakistani people who went abroad are NOT patriots?. To be a patriot, one must remain in his country irrespective of what value he or she adds. He will still be patriot if he gnaws roots of the country from within. great!!
Salam remained associated with the nuclear weapons program until the mid-1974, when he left the country after Ahmadi were declared non-Muslims by the Pakistani Parliament.[SUP][89]](Abdus Salam - Wikipedia)[/SUP] His own relations with Prime minister Bhutto fell out and turned into open hostility after the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community was declared as not-Islamic; he lodge a public and powerful protest against Prime minister Bhutto regarding this issue and gave great criticism to Bhutto over his control over the science.[SUP][69]](Abdus Salam - Wikipedia)[/SUP] In spite of this, Salam maintained close relations with the theoretical physics division at PAEC who kept him informed about the every status of the calculations needed to calculate the performance of the atomic bomb, according to Norman Dombey.[SUP][69]](Abdus Salam - Wikipedia)[/SUP] After seeing the Indian aggression in Northern Pakistan, followed by massive troops rotation in Southern Pakistan, Salam again renewed his ties with the senior scientists working in the atomic bomb projects, including Ishfaq Ahmad and others, who had kept him inform about the scientific development of the program.[SUP][69]](Abdus Salam - Wikipedia)[/SUP] In 1980s, Salam personally approved many appointments and large influx of Pakistani scientists associateship program at ICTP and CERN, and engage in research with his students in theoretical physics with his students at the ICTP.[SUP][69]](Abdus Salam - Wikipedia)[/SUP] In 2008, Indian scholar Ravi Singh also noted in his book that “in 1978, Abdus Salam with PAEC officials, paid a secret visit to China, and was an instrumental initiating the industrial nuclear cooperation between the two countries.”[SUP][75]](Abdus Salam - Wikipedia)[/SUP] Although, he had left the country, Salam did not hesitate to advise the PAEC and Theoretical and Mathematical Physics Group on important scientific matters, and kept his close association with TPG and PAEC

Its not that they actually believe "ex-pats" are unpatriotic. They only use this argument to defend their countries treatment of Salam. Its a defense mechanism. You dont want to admit an unpleasant reality, hence you try cover up your guilt by intellectualizing it, trying to make it something other then what it is. Being willfully ignorant for the sake of being ignorant, because otherwise it would mean learning something you already suspect but cant bring yourself to accept.
So people like "Zafra" know off the injustice on some level, but they dont have the courage to explore it further because doing so would challenge their world view and undermine their identity. Its willful ignorance plain and simple. And thats bliss.
Notice how "Zafra" and this "Dhoti" person suddenly scuttle away when they are challenged... Some inane ramblings and their off.
