In 1968, father was reading Illustrated Weekly - and there was a colour photo of Cassius Clay - if I recall that was around the time he changed his name. He made an impression then.

The picture with Rafi Sahab reminds me of another statement by the Champ around early seventies. He was watching a cricket match back inthe days when batsmen did not wear helmets. He called them crazier than boxers (in a nice sort of way).
