last nite i was thinking the same
remebering my time in paksitan
family dinners every weekends all those lovely and yumy feasts
kids roaming around all over the house
parents, grand parents, relatives
it was like a celebration every day
then i thought
if it was all that good
then why did i leave at the 1st place
then started to remember the bitter realities
and those realities have magnified to 3 folds now.
i rang home asked in detail whats happening now a days in pakistan and i was horrified when the actually started telling me
it cost 10 Rs just to travel on bus from one stop to the next while it was Rs4 just 3 years ago.
likewise grocery prices have gone 3 folds
ppl are literally crying
light is on and off all the time.
an other explosion in dubai chowk lahore 5 killed
ppl cant go out their houses now
tell me how r they lucky?
few days back i was fantasizing my trip to pakistan
and now i m thinking how to get my family out of there
any way u must know all this already
sorry if anyone find this offensive but i wanted to share my part of jashne azadi

Being the hardcore Pakistani that I am, I refuse to say jashn-e-azadi mubarik to anyone on any day but august 14th. otherwise that day will become less special and we might as well be celebrating the independence on any day. naraz:
