For guys, great ideas come to mind when they are in shower, same happened here.
I think now I know why desi guys belive in “hansi tou phansi”. You see, desi girls are so sarial most of the time and give poor guys angry looks all the times. So when a girl finally makes a mistake of smiling at a desi guy, he thinks she likes me or whatever.
On the other hand, when American (non-desi) girls smile at them, they don’t think they like them because it’s normal for non-desi girls to pass smilies at other people. Hence, “hansi tou phansi” rule doesn’t go for non-desis. It only goes for desis because those sarial girls smile at guys, they get all excited because what they see is impossible and something that doesn’t happen that often.
