Egyptian actor Hannan Turk has denied rumors that she intends to stop wearing a Hijab, an Islamic headdress, which she recently resumed wearing.
She expressed her anger over the rumors, describing them as ‘lies.”
Hannan said that throughout her life she has learned the most important thing is her devotion to religion and to God, and since she made the decision to wear a Hijab she has been repeatedly attacked by rumors. People have even tried to persuade her to change her mind, added Hannan.
“My devotion to God and my beliefs give me the strength to continue in the path I have chosen,” said Hannan.
Other rumors claim that Hannan was forced to remove her Hijab in order to shoot the remaining scenes of her upcoming film. Hannan said she is not concerned with the rumors surrounding her Hijab, asserting that there is nothing that would make her remove it in public.
Despite the fact that many consider Hannan to be of strong character and to be a proponent of personal freedom, critics think her new appearance in a Hijab may be an effort to influence the movie making industry by coloring it with Islamic principals. http://www.paklinks.com/gs/imagehosting/3812346b0649312e3b.jpg
Between who said that the first picture is quite old ? It is from her recent modelling appearence right after the shoot of series called “Street Children” (awlad al shawari).
The strange thing is that we expect from an actress to be appear wearing a tent suddenly after she just started wearing scarf and modest clothing, on the other hand we ourselves don’t even do that much hijab, we should be strict on ourselves and lenient on others.
Also this woman is much more modest than our lollywood mujra actresses and even many common pakistani women. she has done a great job by started wearing modest clothing, she is a famous actress so many arab girls will follow her foot-steps, may Allah reward her with good for her good intentions and actions.
This picture was taken in 2006 so its not very recent, but still her dress is much more modest in comparison to the clothes she used to wear.
It seems you just wanna dis her for no reason.
I hate people who criticise..
Only ALLAH ji can judge her and the amount of Teen following Actresses get.. I don't see anything wrong and everything right in her wearing hijab.. Atleats she isn't promoting short skirts like 99% of Pakistani and Indian Actresses do..
May ALLAH ji push her further into the Islam that brings about Peace

And May Allah make her more solid in islam.
So you are saying that there is a middle way in Islam?
Bibi, either it's Islam or nothing. People like her and her supporters make fools out of themselves which is fine but at what cost?

Islam is the middle way dear sister....
Believe me it took me a whole year to wear a scarf after knowing that hijab is an obligation....its a big and brave step for a woman who never covered her body fully.
I will support and encourage every good deed of every muslim, instead of condemning them for their mistakes.
Yep! Totally agree :k:…The day a muslim starts thinking “bass main hi main hoo”…thats the day when destruction of his/her imaan starts unless he/she recovers b4 its too late
