Karachi, June 24 (ANI): Pakistan’s veteran cricketer Hanif Mohammed who captained his national side for a brief stint during 1960s, will be honoured with the ‘Pakistan Lifetime Achievement Award’ for his significant contribution to Pakistan cricket at the Asian Cricket Awards function here in Karachi on June 27.
The first-ever Asian Cricket Awards will honour and recognise best performances by Asian players in batting, bowling and fielding, reported the Dawn.
According to the paper, awards will also be given to Pakistan’s player of year and Pakistan junior cricketer of year.
Hanif Mohammed, who also acquired the sobriquet ‘Little Master’, scored 3915 runs, including 12 hundreds, with an average of 43.98 from 55 Tests. (ANI)

Wasn't he part of a family of cricketers with two or three brothers who also were famous? I think I have heard of Hanif being spoken about with respect by some Indian cricketers in the old Wadekar team
