Pakistan is under strict observation of the world .
We should hang the terrorists but we should be very careful .
I have seen this story on many places so sharing here .
This is Shafqat. He is not a terrorist. He is a poor boy who was arrested for murder when he was 14 old. He confessed to it after nine days of police torture (you can see cigarette burn marks still on his body). He been in prison for over 10 years now and is on the list of ‘terrorists’ to be hung. He comes from a poor family from Muzafarabad, had dropped out of school, run away to Karachi where this happened. He did not get proper defense; an Anti Terrorist Court convicted him of murder and sentenced him to death. Is this justice? Reminds me of the George stinney case..

Police really do pick up just about every random person they can find during their investigations. Like some university’s lab assistant was arrested because he was a dumb fool who wanted to loiter at an explosion site. People who studied in the university saw this familiar maskook guy being arrested on TV and the Dean had to make a ton of phone calls to get the guy released. If he didn’t have important people willing to vouch for him then he would still be jail or getting lined up for an execution.

Keeping in view corrupt Pakistani justice system, poor people who could not afford lawyers or bribing judges and police, and those influential paki elite using their power and money entangled many to eliminate due to personal enmity or otherwise, I too have strong objections to these executions.

Yes hang proved and confessed talbani killers.

I agree. Great thread Anwer Uncle. I have also signed petition. Being careful is important. We have to protect these children also.

On wall of school in Peshawar. I disagree with the revenge part but even these children should be educated.

**Be careful , When I say this , It means because killers of my son are also convicted but still I want to be careful
The lists should be published and monitored carefully , it should not be a number game .
At this stage , Only confirm terrorists
