here i am stucked in a situation, well ma Office management has arranged a picnic at Beach “Sanspit” point in khi, comming weekend, this is a gud activity although but i am very much concerned abt my skin, ma complexion, as i dont have gud experience of picnics at beach in khi cuz it ends in giving dull complexion,
one of the factor is that i never used to wear sunbloks as i wasnt aware b4 that much abt how to take care of my skin when going specially on picnics like these
neways guys all i need to ask is that what shud i do, plz advice,
shud i miss the picnic?
shud i be a part of it?
if so then what precautions shud be taken to keep my skin as it is?
which sun block shud i apply?
I have Olay sun blok, its of 25 or 20 PF, but it leaves my face greecy
I am very much comfortable with my skin and color complexion Alhamdulilla, i dont wanna loose it
ur help needed…
Gina~ where r u…lolz
I need ur help specially
yar... cmon dun b so vain! go and enjoy urself! continue using SPF like u do. I am not too sure abt the hands though cus ive noticed whenever i come back from picnic my arms and hands are v dark compared to face. I wonder if u can use SPF on hands and arms too?? Gina.....??
i totally get you but dont let your skin hold you back from going out and having fun! def go=] but i suggest you use a higher SPF sunblock. i use the neutrogena sunblock SPF 70. 20 is nothing, you need at least SPF 30. and just try not to get water on your face, it attracts the sunlight. plus its total salt water at sandspit. i went 2 yrs ago with family when i visited karachi, and i forgot to put sunblock on and i was like 5 shades darker the next morn lol it was embarrassing. but my sister had sunblock on and it didnt make her any darker. so it helps alot! just get some good sunblock and youre good!! have funnn=]

and yeah you can use sunblock on arms and legs and everywhere
You should use a sunblock with a higher spf and oil free. Neutrogena and Aveeno have good oil free sunblocks with 40 all the way to 80. I like the Neutrogena one and I can wear it under my makeup.
Make sure you apply it 20 minutes before you go out and all over face, neck, ears, arms, hands, feet..any exposed part of skin. And you need to reapply every 2 hours so take some with you. The hours between 10 and 3 are when the sun is most damaging to the skin so if you can stay in the shade or wear protective clothing like a hat and long sleeves, that is better.
Use a very good sunblock that is water resistant and lasts for atleast 3-4 hours.
Make sure you reapply it once you've been in the water or after a few hours.
Wear a large floppy hat that covers your face and neck and if you are planning on wearing flipflops make sure you put the sunblock on your feet or you'll end up with those nasty strap marks.
just wear a hat, visor, or a sheer kurta with longer sleeves and some capri pants. we could all use a bit of sun on our legs and most desi girls whine about their arms being darker, me included (i think it’s from driving so much). anyhow just wear some sun block here we can get sunblock that is water and sweat proof up to 80spf but they say 30 is all one needs. the hat or visor will give you all the shade you need to enjoy your time in the sun.
hey thanks alot for ur intreasts and advices, really all of u are so helpfull,
2 days to go for picnic,em excited :D, well but have to go for the sunblok first of all,

Go and have fun!
em stuck is b/w neutrigina and aveeno?
which one to buy,as one of my frnd told me that she doesnt have any gud experience wth neurtrgina sunblock, also suggest me of what SPF wud be more effective??
I've always like Neutrogena, I have sensitive skin and it's always worked well. I think the one I use is called Ultra Sheer Dry Touch Sunblock with SPF 70. It's lightweight and it doesn't make me breakout/clog pores. Just make sure you rub it in evenly on your face.
A lot of people like Aveeno too , my sis uses it, but it makes my face itch a little.
Whatever one you do decided to get, make sure it protects against UVA and UVB rays and that it's oil free. A lot of traditional sunblocks are really greasy.
