u kno i love the bathrooms in pakistan. u have the whole bathroom to shower in and there’s water everywhere it’s so much funnn :blush: no standing in a stupid tub. and and the thingies u mentioned r much better then plain old lotas. oh and u kno the lil faucets rite next to the toilet in case u run out of water in the lotas. those r handy. coz in my bathroom the sink is all the way on the other side :grumpy:

they are not called hand showers. a detachable shower head is called a “hand shower”…it is larger and used for regular showers, not for bum-cleaning.

what you are referring to is called a hand-held bidet.

Here in Dubai you will find these handshowers almost everywhere, even in public bathrooms.

But they should be available in the US quite easily as well, since I saw them installed in the bathroom of an uncle's house in Washington DC when I went there in 2000, ie 6 years ago!!!

^^ some call them muslim shower and they are defintely available, if you can get your hands on a magazine called JEI link which is available in most islamic centers across the US, its a standard size alsthough a little thicker YELLOW covered catalogue style book for all muslim businesses in the US. I have seen ads for it in there. Or have some one coming from pakistan bring a few over for you ....
