I don’t why nobody mentions that raising kids and looking after the house is also a very important full time job, much harder than a standard 9-5.

If I ever got got married, and my wife decided to stay and look after the home, I will be extremely grateful to her as her contribution would have been far greater than mine will ever be.

However in case if she decides to work, which would be totally her own decision, then the equation might be a bit different. If she works part time and makes a small amount of money compared to me for reasons like her career progression, personal satisfaction or just as a time pass, then I do not think I will be comfortable taking any money from her. On the other hand if she has a high paying job which is demanding and takes up most if not all of her time then I might expect her to contribute something towards day-to-day running of the house as the expenses will definitely go up.

Have one account for you, one account for her and one joint account for joint household expenses.
Agree on how much each contributes to the joint account. Use the joint account for things like mortgage, grocery, kids expenses and anything else thatis joint responsibility.
Each of you are free to spend from your personal account for personal reasons.

You dont know nothing lil man, when you wrong someone and the guilt eats at you and you try to make up for it, is amazing to be at the receiving end. Besides I did deserved it, she is very calm and I just wanted to test how far I can go before she gets provoked. Mentioning another woman did it for her. Still a sign of passion, if she had said whatever than I would be sad.

Well..every couple is different when handling finances. We..handle our finances together. Have separate account. We live separetely as well. I spend on rent, parents and bills. She handles grocery…some shopping here and there. That is how we decided..we will run our house..just so it doesnt become burden on one person. And its our money whatever we have. When we have family..ill plan on getting second job..just so we can meet our goal of having our own house inshAllah..
