I see that many people have difficult time handling this tricky thing… the jobs/responsibilities they are assigned or the relationships they are in…put them in such a situation that they have a conflict… their professional/ethic responsibility demands one thing…whereas their personal views/interests are on the opposing end…
what should be done with those people who can’t keep their personal interests out of the job…and unwilling to admit it??
what would you do if you were in such a situation?? would you try to keep the job/responsibility and continue despite this?? or you would leave it??
one example would be you are the class teacher and your own son is a student......
or you are a boss.......and one of your employees is your spouse.......
etc etc.....
if you know yourself to be the one who is more inclined towards leniency where relationships are concerned then don't employ them or have them at the same workplace. It can make things hard and tricky.
Similarly even if we are neutral fair minded people who don't give the benefit of being related to somebody at workplace, ppl around would still mutter 'ye to us ki behn/aunty/rishtedar etc hai..obviously he'd/she'd side her'
