First of all my hats off to the inventor of the handbag, now here is a device that at the most measures 1 1/2’*3 but you can stuff upto 15 gallons of junk in it.
I have always heard the women are more organized than men, but obviously that is just not true when it comes to handbags. It’s the men in the grocery line that are usually subjected to torture when a woman goes through 15 gallons of trash in her handbag to come up with a penny. I wouldn’t be surprised if a folding chair with a table and wine and chees e came out of a hand bag. My camping gear has less contents than the stuff I see in bags that women empty in front of the cashier searching for a penny. Friggin Google would fail looking for a penny in this respect.
Men have a little 8"x8"x3" wallet with a few business card, a few credit cards (1 or 2) a piece of paper with stuff written on it in excitement that no one (including us) can read. But we are happy no complaints. If we see a line behind us instead of looking for penny we take the 99 cents handed back to us with a smile.
So my question what do you women carry in that health hazard (and hence this is in the health forum)? Why are you so dis-organized? Whats the anatomy of a handbag? How many secret compartments for girlie stuff?
erm…wallet with the stuff you just described…keys…cell-phone…random papers I shove in there and which I never organize until the purse is overflowing with papers - usually kaam ke papers, not magazine clippings … coupons … loose change that I didn’t bother putting in the wallet in the first place …
oh and also make-up. So that includes a lipstick, a lip gloss, eyeshadow, a small lotion, tissue papers, deoderant, and a small body spray.
You see, WE have the deoderant in the bag. Men don’t walk around with deoderants, and hence are smelly after a few hours of being outside. Especially if they work outside. We take our make-up along with us, so that if our lipstick wears off when we eat, we can reapply it. You men - oh wait, you don’t put on make-up. We have to tolerate your thopras just the way they are. (oh but GOD FORBID a girl walks around without make-up, she’s just not attractive). We take tissues with us, so that we can be clean. Runny nose? No problem. We need not use our shirt to wipe our snot off. Oh, and they’re great for using on the John.
We take coupons, so that we don’t spend 50 bucks on the groceries, but rather 40. We’re economic.
Now as to the random change strewn all over the purse…well, hey…women have the right to be careless in some respects. :halo:
I’m guessing it is this loose change aspect that bothers you, because the woman has to fish thru all THAT to get to that one penny? Ah well. Sucks for you.
gum, perfume, wallet, knee highs, cell phone, chapstick, rubber bands, a key, lotion, my purses are usually small..its not an aunty type purse that pcg has
and if all men obediently gave thier wives all the money…there wud no wallet for tem in the first place either…seriously men shud trust the woman in the hijab at least!..
well I have a wallet and aa lil tote that hass all my make up, comb, tissue etc. so in my hand bag is a neat lil wallet and this lil tote...and my handbags are quite tiny..my wallte in the size of a business card only thicker.
Interesting but none of the contraceptive stuff in your bags to stop proliferation of humans.

now i am sure hijabans are broad-minded and generous-hearted enuff to give thier men some pocket money… the men can buy the sweets iwth it, and spend it on themselves and their sweeties…after all, no woman can tolerate a bilakta hua hubby asking money for the ‘smallest’ of things…

OK, OK I admit it. My "purse" is ridiculous. I have receipts in there from ages ago (what if I need to return it etc). I have lipstick, lotion, maybe a diaper or 2, loose change, breath mints, wallet, shopping lists, girly stuff, diaper cream, sunglasses, keys. I could go on but i think you get the idea. Its a JUNGLE in there. I'm not alone in this, come on gals be honest.

Cell phone, make-up (powder, lipstick, gloss, mascara, eye-liner), lotion for face, lotion for hands, perfume (musk and floral), sm. sewing kit, batteries (AA and extra cell for phone), band-aids, advil, claritin, 5 pens, index cards, post-its, 2 highlighters, wallet (ID, Credit Cards, Gift Cards, Calling Cards), Pictures of kids, Mom, nieces, nephews, husband, and cat, address book, agenda, nail files, hair barettes, Halls metho-lyptus, gum, breath mints, matches, super glue, Lysol disinfectant wipes, and handy wipes for hands. Assorted paperwork for kids or work and of course the ever present change ($10-20 worth).........
.....And organized ........and in different pockets of the handbag, yes, handbag.
