Hand, Nail, and foot care

Hi

Sooo I’m guilty of not taking care of the above mentioned things as much as I should.

So could you guys please list some ways to care for them?

What kind of products should I buy…including tools I should have

Thanks!

Re: Hand, Nail, and foot care

1) I always keep lotion in my purse for my hands. If you're outside in the sun for extended period of time, make sure to put sunscreen on the back of your hands.

2) For feet, I use Pedegg once even 2-3 weeks.

3) I do my own nails at home once a week. I can shape/buff/apply polish on my own. I may not do the feet every week if I'm busy but the nails on my hands definitely get re-polished at least once a week. If you don't feel your skills at doing your own nails is good enough or don't want to invest time/energy into learning…..then get a mani/pedi done at a salon every 2 weeks or so. I know where I live, plenty of salons do them (mani & pedi both) for $25-$30.

I mix lotion with olive oil and sugar to form a scrubby consistency. Run my hands under warm water to open up the pores. Then I apply the scrub...give my hands a good scrubbing for a hew minutes. Then wash off. You'll immediately notice how soft they feel, that you won't need to apply a moisturizer...but I do it anyways.

Pedicure once a month.

Manicure once every 2-3 weeks.

I like for my hands to look nice and even will avoid the kitchen at times just so my mani can last. :hehe:

Re: Hand, Nail, and foot care

You can easily do it at home. :)

I'm not big on going to the salon that often - maybe like once every few months or so or if there's some wedding or a function to attend.
Otherwise you can do everything at home nowadays. Just get a good foot cream and soak your feet in some warm water. There's so many scrubs as well for both hands and feet. You can also get pumice stones for feet if you have cracked hard skin.

Wear sunscreen to protect skin exposed to the sun and you should be good.
