well, i have to wash quite a number of utensils at home ( due to some reason, my MIL doesnt want the maids to wash sigh).
so, i used to have pretty, nazuk hands but now i am worried, after three years of marriage and continous washing, i am concerned about my hands… so
Basically i need some hand-care regime, please. I’ve heard washing lotsss of utensils make hands heavy and lose their delicacy, is it true???
if i use rubber-gloves, it’ll help saving my hands?
I do dish washing alot. 3-4 times a day even though I have dishwasher that I use everyday. I dont wear gloves bt now over times my skin has become sensitive…it gets itchy each time dishwashing detegrant touches my skin. . I dont even get time to apply lotion.
I'm sure you can find rubber gloves. If you have problems with regular ones being too loose to allow a good grip and therefore good washing, get some disposable nitrile gloves. I'm sure you can find them in medical shops. If you take them off carefully, you can use them a few times before disposing.
The water plus the chemicals are drying out your hands, so gloves are essential.
If you can find rosehip oil, apply it on your hands a few times a day. My sister's hands are very sensitive and become dry, itchy and sore around the nails - just from regular hand washing let alone dishes. She's been using it and her hands are soft and in much better condition.
